Flint Ridge, located in Central Ohio between Muskingum and Licking counties, is known throughout the United States for producing a wide variety of high quality, colored flint.

Combinations of red, blue, yellow, black, white - even purple and green swirl together in beautiful patterns throughout the stone.

For thousands of years, Native Americans mined flint ridge flint in order to produce various tools including projectile points, knives, drills, scrapers and other useful implements.
